3 Simple Ways to Eat Your Banana and Pawpaw Fruits

Banana and Pawpaw are tropical fruits grown in Nigeria. Banana is well known for its high potassium content. It is also rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 and good deal of dietary fibre. Pawpaw or Papaya on the other hand is also rich in Vitamin C and an appreciable amount of folate. It also has little quantities of Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, potassium, and magnesium and some dietary fibre. A combination of both fruits is a power house of micronutrients.

Fruits are a big deal when you are talking about health and vitality. This is because they contain nutrients especially the micronutrients and beneficial compounds that may have disease prevention properties.

According to statistics about 2 out of every 3 people in the world have a micronutrient deficiency. Examples of Micronutrients are Vitamins such as Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin B (1,2,6,9,12), Vitamin D, Vitamin E and minerals like Iron, Calcium, potassium, Iodine, Manganese, Magnesium to mention a few. In Many fruits, you also get a good portion of dietary fibre which is great for your improving health and diseases prevention.
